As soon as I can figure out how to weld them, it will be. The gear has stainless and aluminum. Does anybody know if there is any kind of welding that will work on dissimilar metals? You need to weld the fork in place so it wont twist and then I want to weld the whole strut to the bent wire that goes into the wing. The set screws are not strong enough to overcome the forces of landing, the gear twists and then the pants get messed up and you have an ugly landing. Of course you can avoid this by just making perfect landings every time.....yeah right.. Mine is set up with OS 160FX and flys just great. I just want to make the gear strong enough to withstand the occassional not so perfect landing. The Gee Bee looks great, flies great!!
