I have a carbon rod in the front (IIRC), but maybe the same idea can be used for me also.
I also drilled a hole just below the horz. stabilizer for the clamp-screw, that one is easy enough to get to, but I'm more worried of the front screw if that will be ok to screw that one into the carbon rod in mine ?
(Are there any ''meat'' around the front rod so the screw has something around it ?)
what you can do is drill a hole into the carbon rod.
then use the purple zap , it will be "sucked"into the carbon cloth inside.
then use a Thread tap to make thread and it should hold for a very long time.
