I appreciate all you guys help. I just bought a fiber prop yesterday, I have a Harry Higley heavy prop nut I thought about putting on it as well. I have even thought about trying 10% nitro and 18% oil for fuel just to see how it responded. I just got a copy of AM Cross's instruction, I will try it today and see how it works. As of now the low end needle is like she said 1/2 way into the "Cat's eye" and the eye is facing towards the crank. I will also try a OS "F" plug next week. This engine seems to have extreme power as I am sure all 3000's do, I just hope I can get it running right so I can enjoy it to the fullest. As far the carb. where can i find a magnum carb that will fit this engine????

P.S.
There was much conversaiton about this engine being only almost 3 times more power than a 1/4 scale Flybaby needed, I thought it was funny when i took it to the field and watched everyone talking about it. When in flight it flies better than any plane i have ever owned, and it balanced perfectly with no weight added. I guess I got lucky.
