Wheeled vehicles are cheaper to build and maintain so a lot of goverments are looking at them as an alternative to tracked tanks. Also the technology has come a long way since WWI and now wheeled vehicles can go where tanks can't.
Certainly better for FIBUA ..... "Fighting In Built Up Areas" !
