I just use epoxy. I have never had one fail. I put it in the slot and then warm it up a bit with my heat gun which allows it to flow better, add some more epoxy to the slot, wipe of the excess and slide the hinge in. I always make sure the hinge is clear of the epoxy and then I let it dry. Good Luck, Dave
