I saw this oil at my local auto parts store. It now comes in a plastic package instead of the steel package.

It is a castor based lubricant for highly stressed two stroke engines. It was (and still must be) used in racing two stroke motorcycles. Is it any good for our diesels?

I see from a search of the fuels forum I did try some R30 for lube in home made fuel for my (gl*w head) MVVS .61 in 2002.

I seem to have been satisfied. I expect R30 will work just fine as a lubricant in a diesel fuel mix. I will pick up a litre pack for testing once my current jug of Castor oil is empty.
