I have had a few of these

Make sure you have enough power for them. Mine originally had a 46FX and it bareley flew. Go with a 72 4 stroke or bigger if you can. I am flying mine with a MDS 68 right now.
CG is very important if you dont balance it correctly it turns into a hand full in the air. I had to balance it with some lead weight but now im ok becuase I have a bigger motor to compensate.
I agree there is nothingin the instructions telling you to shorten the rods, they are about 4-6" too long. Also the supplied dowl/push rods are too weak. I snapped mine while building it so I put in stronger ones we had.
-make sure its powered properly or it will fly like crap
-make sure CG is setup correctly.
