Default RE: DLE30 rear induction conversion!

Guys I am still not sure what caused the failure, the converter is supposed to save the motor if something was to happen, but in this case both went in with flames. One min things was great, the next I heard a pop like something fell off the table then the motor single phased on me. I shut it off and called an electrician. We even tried to hook it up to a static converter to get it back up and running but no such luck. Although the motor still turns its pulling 33 amps and won't spin up to max RPM's. Since its a special motor I can either have it rebuilt or buy a new one. It will cost more to have it rebuilt than buy new. But if all of the motors are like this I can do W/O it. Supposed to be made in Tiwan, but I have a feeling its not. I don't think the overseas type motors have the guts the ones we make here in the states do.
The motor isn't my biggest concern really it's the rotary converter, takes a good whack out of 4 grand for that particular one, but for now I can get by with a static type to finish up with.
All I know is I have been scratching my head here worried sick about not being able to get these parts done and out the door. My word means alot to me and when I say that I will get something done I try my best to achive it. Had this of not had happened I think I would have been ready to ship.
