Can some give me info about how a failsafe works.
I had experience with my big swamp buggy running away {almost]
It started getting intermitent on the controls, so I turned it toward the dock I was standing
on. While coming straight at me on return, I turned the throttle down to idle It stayed almost
wide open I jumped back waiting for the train wreck I knew was comimg lucky the dock was only about 6 in
above water. The boat hit the dock and went airborn,went 4 ft. high and about 20 ft., clearing the dock and
made a beautiful landing went into the grass on the bank where i was able to walk over and shut it down.
Upon examination, the battery wire had parted, I was lucky
I don't know if a failsafe could have prevented this or not, seeing as how the battery connection was broken.
Any way I don't want do that again. Help.
