Would't a spring tension pulling on a servo all the time be damaging.
In order to pull a servo back under power failure, it would have to be strong.

Excuse my ignorance, but this spring ( http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXUP98&P=7 ) I believe it is used in automotive carburetor, but it is possible that you could show some picture of how to mount this system to be used in case the battery disconnect? I know that if the battery disconnect the servo will be stalled in the last position.
