Ok on the 2700 e flite I would NOT prop over 5.5x4.5 on 4 cells...I would suggest 4.75x4.75....The motor is not the greatest....if you want more then go with a HET of the same or close kv...they are made to take the abuse.
Or go with a 28mm x 47mm ish mm motor ...longer then the e-flite....
You can go with the microDan 2900kv but it HAS to run on a e-flite ESC set at 12hz or the middle switching freq. of the 3 choices
On 4 cells it pulls 54 amps and puts on 700-800 watts. on APC 4.75x4.75...the big benefit is it weighs 1.6 oz vs 3-4 oz of other motors.
Oh speed I ran a Turnigy 2650ma 4 cell battery and had a speed run of over 115mph 4.75x4.75
