Hello all, finally had some time to get back to my Tiger project. In the pictures below I've written what I'm basically inquiring. Is that dip in the front shield a heng long thing, or is this semi accurate to the design of the Tiger? Also, how many degrees should that slope be on the top sides of it. I see that the Heng long barely has this. Reason I ask is that I find it may be easier to fabricate the entire piece rather than trying to carefully cut the machine gun mantle out as well and the.....what ever that peep hole area is called? Just need to know if that dip in the heng long version is based on accuracy or if this was just another measure to avoid legal issues.
Also, the fenders. Particularly this type. It appears that the fender is made of 2 parts. One curved sheet and then a grate that lays over it. Is this a 2 part fender that folds at each joint or is it one curved fender that is hinged to the body? Also, are these hinges or riveted bracket......please for my sake, tell me some good news. I don't think I could stomach any more hinges on this tank! lol
Thanks in advance for any help received!
