RE: Modeltech Super Cub
To all newcomers...
I just ran into a slight snag and error in this Cub. When assembling the push rod tubes someone had a bad hair day or was upset for some reason. There are three tubes and well placed so the left two are for elevator's and the right/center for rudder, quite obvious by where the servos go. Not until I was hooking up the rods to the control horns did I realize the rudder rod was coming out on the left elevator position and would of required a serious bend and bind to get down to the rudder horn. I anticipated some serious surgery But, I walked away and thought it out to a simple fix. Razor saw in hand and cut the tubes at the back of former guide and switched the rods over, Of course this required disasemble of the clevis's, pull the rods out and reassemble. Kinda a long note to advise anyone else to check it out before you proceed. You can not see where the tubes go at the tail end and exit until you poke though the covering. I trust those of you who have contributed to this thread did not have this problem.
