yes the 15LA will be enough to fly it but will not hover it.

the next best engine would be a OS 30 at 10.5 ounces which would hover this plane if kept under 35 ounces on a 10x5 prop. if really want to max out in power for the same 10.5 ounce run a Saito 40 with a 12x4 APC I have the Saito 40 on a Fliton AJ at 56 ounces and it will hover at 2/3 stick. it spins the 12x4 APC at 11,000


The LA 15 i think would fly very light in the plane. The OS 30 would be enought to hover and the Saito 40 would be way over kill and would need to really beef up the airframe. Look at my thread in here on the AJ and I also have the LA 15 going in a GP lancair here also.
