you made a good choice. Open up the exhaust hole with a dremel. (must be taken apart) run a 8x4 APC prop or even a 8X3 APC any of these 2 strokes will have it going really fast. So make sure your using the throttle. I also forgot about the CVA from OS but its twice the cost. the LA 25 is 9.8 ounces and would swing a 10x3 very well. The thunder Tiger 28 is also around 9.5-9.8 ounces but for that close to that same weight the Saito 30 or 40 would be a bette choice for bigger props. you will still need to keep it slow no matter what.

The LA 15 would be my choice for that plane.
