Default RE: LT 40 conversion

Quite an easy conversion, the tail wheel is the hardest part of this
conversion due to the posiiton of the rudder, but it can be done, in
one of 2 ways. The last 2 pics show the way I tackled it or as I did
in a previous LT-40 put a servo in the bottom of the fuselage and
"Y" it to the rudder servo to steer the tail wheel. Main gear is from
T & T Landing Gears, but if you do a search on Tower Hobbies, you
should be able to find a gear with the right height, wheel stance width,
and fuselage width to fit the LT-40. The most important step is to
reinforce the inside of the fuselage to anchor the main gear, I used
1/4" aircraft ply and placed the axle centerline approx 1/4" ahead of the
leading edge of the wing. Mine handles extremely well on the ground
for taxiing and tracks well once the tail lifts up also.
