RE: Modeltech Super Cub
I"m new too the thread and the Model Tech Supercub.Ihad the same problem as Tapa and had to cut the rudder control horn. The only other problem I had was with the cleveses that came in the kit, they were brittle and the pins broke so I had to go to Dubro. Some builders has had trouble with the supplied tank but mine has worked ok.Than again I only have just a little over an hour on mine.I powered it with a magnum .91 four stroke and for control I'm useing the Airtronics RDS8000 and Futaba s3004 servo's It flew out of the box with no trim changes ,thats a first for me.I've flown the full scale PA-18 150 and it imatates the real one verywell.Full flap landings you fly a steep approach or drag in with power just like the full scale.I can't say enough about the people at Hobby-People Iordered mine friday on line for $219 Monday morning Igot an email saying it was on sale for $169.Icalled to cancel my order but was told the order was already processed. but they would credit $50 to my credit card, thats service.
