RE: Modeltech Super Cub
Glad you got it flying. I also had a lot of hours in the real super cub-it even had the same color scheme. I used to just drop the door and raise the window and cruise along at about 60-65 and it was quite a thrill. I don't fly real ones anymore so it is nice to fly this one. I soloed it for the first time yesterday and made better landings than the field "expert" which he is but it just seemed to come natural to me with the super cub. I didn't really care for the full flap landing in the model since it wants to float. They are really not needed in our field which is wide open but would be a plus in a confined area which required a "short-field landing". I agree about the service at Hobby People.net they ship very fast and have some great deals. They stand behind everything they sell. Terry
