Just stripped my 4Star60 kit. Heat gun, mini needle nose pliers and acetone. Be careful when you're tossing the plane over to get at pieces of film - the turtle deck stringers break very easily.

Just thought of a potential issue. Ultracote (my covering) has clear adhesive - the color is in the top material. Monokote has colored adhesive with a clear top material. You will leave color behind with Monokote - clean up with Acetone will be necessary and like not entirely successful.
