No you do not have to rebind everytime.
If you have the DX5e, then bind all your planes to it, then when ready to fly one of them, turn the radio on first, wait a few seconds then plug in the battery into your plane and it should be ready to fly.
I have the DX6i and I am already almost out of Model Memory[X(]
