No Windows 7 is not and does not work great. XP mode does not work well. The software I use is not archaic. The people that feel that old software is outdated are the ones that keep Bill Gates and the other monopolies swimming in money, just so they can have a new version of something that adds a new button or different graphics to do the same job. The first computer I used was a Commodore 64 in the early 80's. now that was archaic. Anyone that thinks a new OS every 2 years is a good thing is......go figure.- I appologize in advance.-BW
