im not complaining about window 7 as a whole. i just dont understand why it cant run these older programs? why should the new fancy windows 7 have any problem playing some game thats 5 or 10 years old?
when i tried to play ST armada, windows 7 gave me the option to use windows 2000 settings to try and fix the problem. at 1st i was like, sweet a system that fixes itself! i picked that option(the game worked on W 2000) and it did nothing. the game still wouldnt start up.
how hard is it to make a system that is backwards compatiable?!?!?!?

im sure that the sims you pay for will work on windows 7, but if my older computer with windows 2000 hadnt died, i would be playing FMS for free right now!
