Didn't the DX 7 have a recall for certain date codes on transmitters? Something to do with the DX 7 aileron channels....
With 2.4 to the best of my knowledge you are locked into buying the same brand receivers as is the transmitter....ie jr/spectrum only works with jr/spectrum, futaba with futaba.....With this in mind you need to look at the price and availability of Hitech receivers......
