I just picked up a old Kyosho f-86. I know it had lots of problems but i am one that likes a challenge. Any way i have an engine that will spin the fan easily, my question is how did all you old guys measure the rpm of the engine/fan setup. I was thinking of painting one blade white but not sure if will get and accurate reading.

Also does anyone know the rpm limit of the fan in that kit. i will be installing a OS TZ turbo engine that will really spin it up.
