I have the 63e version. I used the recommended Hyperion motor and Hyperion ESC with it. Its got plenty of punch in my opinion. Im using a TP extreme 4s 4600mah lipo
Here's its maiden flight if I remember correctly...sorry for the poor video..but maybe it will give you an idea of the vertical performance on the OEM setup.

Im not much of a pattern pilot, but it will do intermediate no problems. I havent tried the P sequences with it...
I read your reveiws on your site. I have yet to get the 90 asoriginally planed because my10e is serving the purpose so far. I amusing a MicroDan 2510-1300 motor (very efficient), CC Pheonix 25 esc, TP 1320 V2 prolite or 1350 pro power with Futaba 3156 digitals, and a 10x4 Xoar. Weight w/ the 1320 is 24.4oz and flys for 7+ minutes withmore than enoughpower although I havent flown a complete sequence. Still trimming after 10 flights (weather has been horrible here in florida for the last 6 weeks), moving the cg further and further back a little at a time as I am hoping for a little more 3d performance too. Plane runs 58mph and doesnt require any mixing yet. I am veryhappy with how it flys unfortunatley it really shows how bad I suck at precision. Its my poor mans pattern ship completewith a tru turn. If I ever crash it I will get another as I was very happy with the quality and level of finish work completed by the factory. The supplied linkages were junk but for 104 bucks I aint complaining.
