Default big problem with nitro motor!!!!!!

i have a rustler 2.5. well today i began my run by increasing the idle a little bit. toward the end of my tank i notice that my my low end throttle seemed to be cutting out when ever i accelerated. i was able to go high speed fine but it is the low end i had trouble with. so i brought it in and richend the lsn. i also adjusted the idle to tone it down a bit. well i then tried to start it and it wouldnt. i didnt make any drastic changes to prompt it to not start.

so i tried increasing and decreasing idle, richening lsn and leaning it but no matter what i did it wouldnt stay going. here is the weird part. i can get it going if i keep the throttle half way which in turn engages the clutch but will shut off as soon as i release. but even when i lowered the idle and tried to start it, it would atoumatically engage the clutch no matter what the idle is at. i sat for over an hour trying everything. i also saw the spur gear and the clutch bell region starting to smoke. it now also sqeaks somewhere when i rotate the flywheel. what the hell is wrong?
