I also bought the kit and Falcon motors in Europe. I can't say I am pleased with motors, the boat is not fast enough and used up batteries quickly. I threw out the orignal batteries, and haven't run the boat since, they were, I think , 5 amp gel batteries and were too heavy for the boat. If I get to running this one again I will try high capacity nicads. I liked this boat because I saw a lot of opportunity for animation

I didn't use a lot of the kit, As I remember planking this one was not easy. I coated the inside and outside of the hull with fiberglass resin, no cloth. My mast is all soldered brass tubing so I could add the battle lights and operating radars., I think the kit came with "some bizzare thing" for the front of the superstructure that I Ignored. I made the entire floor of the bridge from a plastic grating material and mounted the speaker for the effects under it.

I owe someone a picture of the operating gun mechanism with recoil spring, I will get to it soon.
