I had the 60 size Super Stick for several years. I had several different engines on it. It was made into the taildragger version.

The bottom line is that it is on the heavy side due to the aluminum motor mount.. Other than that, the covering is the least of your problems. I changed the wing bolts and that was a none event afterwards.

I've had a half dozen Ultra Sticks. They are a superior plane but for sport flying, the cost difference is probably not justified.
Thanks. I have enough GP plasic mounts laying around that I wouldn't use the aluminum mount anyway. Since I'm not planning on using the quad flaps option, maybe I'll just get her the Super Stick and replace the wing bolts.
