Well, if you are looking for a "jet" and don't care about the power plant - you might consider looking at Jet Hanger Hobbies F-86 kit. It has a lot of building to do with this kit, but if built over the winter, one could do it and then paint it in the spring. Its ducted fan and with an OS 46 and the turbax fan, it moves around pretty good. I finally managed to get my first flight on mine this last weekend - it flew pretty good. Flew for about 7 minutes and just got into the second saddle tank - total of 20 ounces on board. If you do get this kit, PM me and I'll give you some pointers on building it.
