Sorry to hear you had problems with your cessna. I actually went into Hobby Hanger to buy that plane, and they told me they sold it about an hour before I got there. I bought a KMP AT-6 Areoshell Texan from the Hobby Hanger. I bought it at a considerable discount, because the plywood ring that holds the cowl on was broken, and it also had cracks in the back of the fuse. I knew that this was a builders plane and bought it knowing it was going to take some work. What I didnt know was, the whole fuselage was twisted about 3/4 of an inch. Not really visable untill you put the wing and tail on it. Buy that time its too late. I dont blame the guys at Hobby Hanger for this problem, and they made it rite. I even called KMP's help line, and they acted like they never even heard of that plane. I wouldnt give two cents for one of their pice of crap airplanes. They have lost this customer forever! I hope Hobby Hanger took care of it for you. I buy all my planes from them and their prices are hard to beat. Good luck to you. Oh buy the way, just how bad was the plane? worth fixing?
