Has anyone encountered problems with the KMP Cessna Skyline 152 fuselage being cracked when you received the aircraft? I purchased this ARF from Hobby Hanger out of Chantilly Virgina, when I received the plane and opened the box to inspect it the first thing I noticed was the paint scheme did not match the picture on the box. The second thing I noticed was the fuselage had three cracks in the rear overhang of the back window and on the virtical stab at the most forward edge. Anyone that has had problems with this ARF please let me know thanks.

Sorry to hear you had problems with your cessna. I actually went into Hobby Hanger to buy that plane, and they told me they sold it about an hour before I got there. I bought a KMP AT-6 Areoshell Texan from the Hobby Hanger. I bought it at a considerable discount, because the plywood ring that holds the cowl on was broken, and it also had cracks in the back of the fuse. I knew that this was a builders plane and bought it knowing it was going to take some work. What I didnt know was, the whole fuselage was twisted about 3/4 of an inch. Not really visable untill you put the wing and tail on it. Buy that time its too late. I dont blame the guys at Hobby Hanger for this problem, and they made it rite. I even called KMP's help line, and they acted like they never even heard of that plane. I wouldnt give two cents for one of their pice of crap airplanes. They have lost this customer forever! I hope Hobby Hanger took care of it for you. I buy all my planes from them and their prices are hard to beat. Good luck to you. Oh buy the way, just how bad was the plane? worth fixing? I heard last friday that it got returned.
