If you bought the thing from your LHS, then, THEY should stand behind the junker. Did you pay for it with a credit card? If so, you could contact the CC company & have them do a "charge-back". That will get your money back. Apparently the LHS made the profit & had you do the leg work. Shame on the LHS.
