Please help me get my canopy from Raidentech...
Norman at Raidentech want me to post both sides of the conversation we had in replaceing my damaged canopy.
Briefly,
I bought a Cessna 421 thru my hobby shop. It came in damaged. Crushed canopy and frame work that supports the canopy. Hobby shop ordered a new one. About a month latter a plastic shell that resembles the canopy was shipped. "This thing is junk" No where near the size of fitting. Besides I don't have a frame to mount it to.
The hobby shop tried to order a COMPLETE canopy. Norman said I sent him one. This is where I step in.
I contacted Norman at Raidentech, even talked to him on the phone. AND I SENT HIM A PICTURE OF WHAT A FINISHED CANOPY SHOULD LOOK LIKE
This is what I wrote:

Can you please open a kit of the Cessna 421 and send me the complete canopy. The plywood frame and the plastic canopy FINISHED…
I am asking for it to be finished so when I receive it, I just have to mount it to the plane.
I already had this plane a month with the crushed canopy from shipping and I would like to get this plane in the air soon……
His response was., I will send it out right away
He sent me this

After 1 1/2 weeks......Nothing
I contacted him And he replied
It was shipped by first class mail on 3/9/2010 . no tracking number you should get it by now at
440 4-1/2mile rd Racine WI 53402.
Does your address accept first class mail ? if you still don't have it please email me back.

HE SENT THE WRONG CANOPY AGAIN
His response was
Ok you can keep the canopy but for the frame i suggest you make your own frame from balsa wood ya know this is a hobby and i am sure you can find a way.

The reason I steppedi is because he won't even send the right canopy to my hobby shop.......
Now what I am asking..... Do any of you think I'm wrong not accepting this "Unfinished junky canopy"??? The model I bought was a ARF... BRAND NEW IN THE BOX Not reconditioned or open box..
ALL I AM ASKING IS I WANT A COMPLETE FINISHED CANOPY FOR MY BRAND NEW MODEL
MMMM Wondering,, If if it was shipped with a hole in the covering in a wing.... "Would he send me a patch and tell me to fix it"????????
