I didn't know I could do that
I just purchased a tool box, similar to a gun case, for carrying 2 xmtrs to the field.
I was trying to figure out how to cut the foam rubber to fit to protect the xmtrs and look professional.
A razor blade and scissors weren't getting it.
I thought about the band saw and thought "Nah, it'll just tear up the foam"
Then, since I had plenty of foam, I decided to try it.
Cuts like butter! The project came out awesome.
My Optic 6 has two very long narrow switches sticking out the top.
I could cut two slots 1/8" wide for the switches.
Just sharing my experience and something going right for a change.
Good Luck,
