Here is my question. I have a OS 46LA motor in a 40 size yak-54. I am looking to get the best vertical climb and hang to plane on the prop. I think Iwould use an 11X6 rather than a 12X7. Am I correct that going to a smaller diameter prop with less pitch will give me better climb an thrust but lose speed. I am not looking to gofast. Your inputs would begreatly appreciated.
