Default RE: Second plane advice!!

My opinion if you havnt been flying aerobatic planes long and are just getting a second plane, i would stick with something that is not 3D. Learn aerobatics with a sport flyer, but not a 3D. If you do get a 3D airplane, make sure you fly on the lowest rates, becuase 3d airplanes can whip around the sky like crazy, sometimes can get hard to handle. Also i would not fly a basla wood plane if you are just learning and attempting aerobatics(hovering, knife-edge,rolling circles ect). If you crash a balsa wood plane, it is most likely going to be trashed. I used foam planes, not foam cut-outs, but normal foam planes to learn all that stuff. Foam can be repaired easily, balsa cant.

If you are looking to go in that direction, the mini pulse is a great plane to get. With the right power system you can get a awsome smooth flying aeribatic plane, pretty easy to controll and you can learn alot with that plane.
