I appreciate the info guys. Sounds like using them may be questionable. Metalica, what circumstances was it that they failed? What sized plane and what surface was it on? did you get the plane down?

At 6v they should be about 76oz which would be 150oz together. that should be plenty of torque for a 1/4 scale plane, no? (assumign it's an accurate measure)
