The Avistar is better in the wind and more maneuverable when you increase the throws and move the CG back. The Superstar self corrects a bit faster and will land a touch slower. If it's normally windy where you fly, get the Avistar.
I'll ad to that, the Superstar doesn't fly too good in 20mph wind. Don't ask me how I know.
