I have always used .75 oz cloth to glass my planes. However, I'm thinking of using a heavier weight for the tail of the TGA Mig 29 I'm building. All the grain runs the same way and just doesn't appear to be very strong. I am a little concerned about tail weight/ overall weight due to the extra epoxy needed to fill heavier cloth. Any input?
