Yes, beautiful temperatures and lack of cloud cover in Michigan the last few days, but a lot of guys have been absent from the field because of winds. The way I look at it, if you're not going to learn to fly in 15+ MPH winds, you're not going to spend a lot of time in the air in Michigan.
