I'm convinced that there is a more serious miss-communication between Dutch and English than I first thought. I confess, I really don't follow your train of thought or how one thing relates to another in your posts.
But speaking of faces and eras, as a good scientist I always follow the scientific principle - emotions, expressions and periods... using facts and dates is like assuming a square cow.

After all, geometry really is Gaussian (or Reimannian, if you prefer) not Cartesian.
How's that for joining in the folds of confusion?
