Laura; I didn't complain directly to the organisers because I honestly had (and have) no desire to interrupt your fun.  It was purely by chance that I discovered the thread when I logged on from the main site and saw "Honington" in the title which made me curious.  I just wanted to make you aware that some people were disturbed by the proximity, especially after I remembered reading another "Honington" thread a couple of months back (which was re-named) and people were discussing decreasing access to airfields for flying.  Granted, I don't know anything about the reasons behind this situation, but I'd hate to see Honington to be added to that list because of people complaining.  You were lucky in a sense that this fell over Easter Weekend and a lot of people were away, but I'm here regularly at weekends and the noise was much more noticable than usual.  If this had been a regular weekend, I would think a lot more people would have been disturbed, people probably with more of an inclination to complain to their chain of command than me... Please on behalf of all of us, try not to disturb the residents of the blocks.
