I think it's possible, if your computer has a VGA card or display card like NVidia or I think ATI Radeon high def cards with HDMI output, I'm sure you can hook it up to your High Def Television with a vga jack in it. I've seen people do it so it's possible.

I'm using ATI card 512MB and it does have HDMI output. You'd need an HDMI cable.
