Hello all. Does anybody know if there is a way to run a real flight g4.5 or g5 through your TV? Computer screens are small and I lose the plane quickly. Sure be nice to play it on a big screen TV. Thanks for the help. I'm new to the hobby and feel there's a great value to training with a simulator.

I think it's possible, if your computer has a VGA card or display card like NVidia or I think ATI Radeon high def cards with HDMI output, I'm sure you can hook it up to your High Def Television with a vga jack in it. I've seen people do it so it's possible.
I'm using ATI card 512MB and it does have HDMI output. You'd need an HDMI cable.
All the best

You can hook your computer up to most of the new flat screen tvs. Just check the back where the inputs are and see if it has one for a computer cable, most of them do now.

Will do Mody.
Here's where I'm at so far. Bought a mini cub rtf electric and crashed/repaired it a couple dozen times. Moved up to it's older bigger brother, the super cub LP. Both from Hobbyzone. Reasonably priced and it flys like a dream with a 47" wingspan. Can fly it inverted for days and inside and outside loops. Epic! Pretty good for only 3 channels. Got bored and boughtanother foamie. The T-28 Trojan. First shot at ailerons and a low wing. Pretty "darn" squirley. Got a ways to go totackle this one. While I'm learning, I just bought a used Hyperion extra 260 from the coolest guy on RCUniverse. I get it on Monday. It's RTF andwas reasonably priced. All electric so far so my next one is gas fo sho.
My wife says I'm possesed!!
Laughs.

Here's your answer....I do not own a monitor. I have a 42" Plasma TV that my desktop, satellite reciever and dvd player go through. I have a Geforce NX8500GT video card I paid about $50 for a couple years ago. And I own G5.-BW

LOL Houlegan,
My wife says "I'm Obsessed", oh boy I'm proud to announce that I'm obsessed and I love it. My guitar playing hobby is now on the back burner as I'm full-fledged back into it. For more than 2 years I did not have anything to fly but FMS Sim and planes. Now I got 2 planes
Hangar 9's Mustang PTS MKII and gonna do maiden this week of Escapade with Magnum XLS .46 on it.
I wish you all the best houlegan and happy flying my friend
. Anyway HDMI(High definition Multi-media interface) connectors are all in high def television minimum 2 and sometimes 4 are there. The other connector one of our user has mentioned on the tv is VGA(video graphics array) connector prolly 9 or 16 pins blue connector. Thats good for it. If your VGA card on your computer has DVI connector on it, then you'd need to use DVI to VGA otherwise, VGA computer to VGA TV would be good.
Here are the pictures for DVI to VGA and VGA to VGA

On Ebay, I have bought HDMI 6' feet cable for just $3 including shipping. HDMI cables are cheap on ebay and other places online. They are as good as any branded name cables. I have been using them and they work great plus quality is good as well.
