If you're concerned about vib's I'd at least pin the firewall with either socket head sheet metal screws or wood dowels and epoxy. I wouldn't want a firewall shaking loose and an engine flying out. It does happen. A light plane doesn't absorb vibrations very well. That thing will probably be a rocket.
