I flew my new Revolver late last week and found the landing gear mounting area weaker than it should have been. I fixed it and reinforced it only to have it act up again on a mildly bumpy landing today. The plane is sleek and is very fast with my OS .61, but I am seriously disappointed in the gear mounting block and surrounding support formers. The wood in my kit seems very brittle and I'd say a re-engineered landing gear ''box'' will toughen it up for me. Right now, it is still one of the best looking planes around and I'm very excited to put it through the inverted low pass!</p>
the landing gear, there is someone on here who posted something on it... I will find it and post it on here... I did the mod and had no troubles with the landing gear... you have to put her down very gently though... haven't yet had a hard landing so she is its ok for now... I have done plenty low passes, still gathering some b.... to go inverted low pass
