In all honesty I'd buy the Stampede VXL or a Slash 2WD and put the VXL in it. I have all of these trucks including a 4x4 Slash and I have to say they I'm just not very impressed with the 4x4. I bought it to race in the 4x4 class but up until now i've pretty much been bashing with it. It handles pretty well except for body roll but I'm concerned with the number of parts i've been breaking. I've broke the front bulk head twice, rear bulk head once, several carriers and destroyed the center driveshaft. None of this stuff breaks on the 2WD's so for general bashing i'd recommend you stick with one of those.
