Impulse,
Good advice from Cobra regarding Tower & shipping. (Use the $30 you saved to take Raptor's advice and buy an Uproar.

Leave the wheel 'pants' off (shoes was close though) if you fly from grass. Trust me, the wheel pants will absolutely ruin your day!
With my first Sportster, my first landing (extremely smooth by the way), on a grass field, put one wheel pant right up through the wing. There was a hole from the bottom to the top of the wing. Funny thing is, the landing gear was right back where it belonged. If the hole didn't line up so perfectly, I wouldn't have known where it came from.
I thought it must have been a fluke, so I put packing tape on the wing and flew it again. Next landing was at least as gentle as the first. You guessed it, right through the bottom of the wing on the other side!
Now, I couldn't move the gear more than a half inch or so by hand (I was afraid of ripping the wing apart if I pushed any harder), so the forces of the wheel pants catching in the grass must be extreme.
I removed the pants and never had another problem. (Except I had to apply patches to the wings of my nice new Sportster.)
