I've converted both of my 3w-50i's to RC Excel ignitions. The ignitions even come with a bracket and sensor that should work. My engines have the newer two magnet setup so if it's an older engine you might want to go with a "universal" mount from CH. I've got two working 3w ignitions I'd let go for a good price!
