i believe CH ignitions makes one...from what ive read.... they produce a hotter spark than stock 3W ignitions and are reasonably priced

I've converted both of my 3w-50i's to RC Excel ignitions. The ignitions even come with a bracket and sensor that should work. My engines have the newer two magnet setup so if it's an older engine you might want to go with a "universal" mount from CH. I've got two working 3w ignitions I'd let go for a good price!

If you need help timing your engine, go to the link below and click on the link for timing you engine

Some people have said that the 3w has more power with the timing set at about 32 deg before top dead center.
If you have the older style you will have to drill and retap threads to relocate the sensor, Secound picture
You need to use sensor braket number 3 in the picture below
